Presence of Evil

When he gave them a piece of Heaven,

I help them get kicked out.

When he picked David to be a king,

I caused people to envy him,

When he picked Solomon out of love,

I sent exotic women to him,

When he picked Job as a standard,

I took everything from him,

When he picked Jonah,

I put fear in him to run from God,

When he sent Jesus,

I sent assassins to kill him,

When he was doing God's work,

I tempted him.

But...

I never was there when He flooded the world,

I never was there when He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, when He plagued Egypt when He restored Job.

I was never there when

God resurrected His Son.....

Just know, I only come with darkness

when the sun is on the horizon.
